Best Bagels and Coffee, with its bold name, doesn’t quite live up to the hype. The bagels are fine, nothing particularly memorable, but serviceable if you’re in the area and craving one. The ingredients seem decent, though not exceptional. The ambiance is just okay. The space feels a bit cluttered, and there’s a noticeable lack of cleanliness in the seating area, which is already limited. If you’re looking for a quick bite and aren’t too picky, it might do the job, but for a place claiming to offer the “best,” expectations fall short.

Awesome bagels! We got the cinnamon raisin double toasted with peanut butter, and an everything with bacon, egg and cheese. They absolutely loaded the bagel with peanut butter, but didn’t toast it as much. The everything bagel could also have had more cheese. The bagels themselves are very chewy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

We came for breakfast for consecutive 2 days. Bagels are needless to say, the Caesar salad is really nice too. We ordered SPECIAL 3(sweet one) and it was amazing! Highly recommend if you like sweet for a change.

Fresh bagels with quick service Best Bagel & Coffee serves great bagels with a variety of savory options. You can choose your type of bagel and whether you want it simple or as a filling breakfast sandwich. It gets busy, but service is quick, making it easy to grab a satisfying breakfast or snack. While I personally prefer bagels simple and traditional, the quality and freshness are excellent

Like others mentioned it does get really busy, but I was impressed with how quickly they moved. I probably saw about 20 orders go through in 5 minutes. The line looks intimidating at first but it moves fast. I went with the bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel and it was excellent chewy outside, soft inside, and still warm. There are a ton of options to choose from, but the combination of speed, really good food, reasonable prices, and convenience makes this spot stand out. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Midtown.

A must-visit bagel spot. They have a super efficient ordering system, and the food comes out fast. The menu is packed with options, which can be a bit overwhelming at first, but I loved their cream cheese selection (displayed like ice cream). You really can’t go wrong with anything you order. They’re generous with the cream cheese, so it’s super filling. I loved the garlic and herb cream cheese. We also tried the French toast bagel, which was sweet and delicious. This is a grab and go place seating with only a few tables, so this isn’t the place if you’re looking to sit.

This place is always hopping. Fast paced ordering, so check out the menu ahead of getting in line. The bagels are chewy and fluffy, just right consistency. Lots of options! Super fast service, always impressed with the efficiency of the staff at such a high volume of orders. Seating is limited, but you can always walk 1.5 blocks up to Broadway where there is a spot with outdoor seating. Definitely worth a try for a good NYC bagel and coffee.

Stopped by this bagel spot and was pleasantly surprised. The food was good — fresh, tasty, and just what you'd hope for from a solid bagel place. Service was quick, and prices were very reasonable, which is always a plus. I also had a coffee with my meal — it was okay, nothing special, but it did the job. Overall, a great option for a quick, satisfying breakfast or lunch without spending too much
